Clay County 2009 Tax Sale

This year's tax sale takes place on August 24, 2009.

The list of parcels on the tax sale will be updated throughout the tax sale. The list of parcels will be available online beginning July 23, 2009. On the same day, you will be able to pre-register online on this web site.

Please review Chapter 140 of the Revised Statues of Missouri (http://moga.mo.gov/statutesearch/) for legal information.

Tax Sale Pre-Registration Form

Important Notice: This form is solely intended to save time and prevent errors on the day of the tax sale. It does not replace the sworn affidavit, you will still have to sign and to present photo ID.

If you plan on paying with a personal check, you MUST have a letter of credit from your bank registered and on file with the Collector's Office by August 14.

Do NOT use this form if:

• You are an out of state bidder (call the Collector's Office, (816) 407-3200, for details), OR
• You are representing someone else than yourself (you need to print out the affidavit and obtain the signature(s)
