Clay County 2009 Tax Sale This year's tax sale will be on August 24, 2009. The list of parcels on the tax sale will be updated throughout the tax sale. The list of parcels will be available online beginning July 23, 2009. On the same date, you will be able to pre-register online on this web site. A list of guidelines and important information is listed below. If you have any further questions, please call our office at (816) 407-3200. To help us plan to accommodate all bidders, please let us know if you register but then find out you will not be attending our sale. Call us at 407-3200. 2009 Tax Sale Guidelines (pdf) (last version: 6/4/2009) Taxpayers may pay their delinquent taxes with penalties and interest to the Collector at any time prior to the start of the sale at 10:00 A.M. on Monday, August 24, 2009. Payments must be in our hands at that time, and must be in Cash or Cashier Check. POSTMARKS CANNOT BE ACCEPTED.
