The Facilities Management Department is charged with preserving the County’s capital assets, by operating and maintaining the facilities systems in a cost effective and professional manner, to ensure a safe, accessible, efficient and attractive environ-ment for the public and employees. The Department handles the day-to-day maintenance, custodial and general upkeep of 15 facilities. This includes repairs to the buildings and building systems, minor renovation projects, operation of utilities systems, sanitation and recycling, grounds keeping, construction project management and related support and security activities.
The Facilities Management Department is the County's Liaison Office to the Clay County Fine Arts Commission.
