This position performs construction and maintenance of park department trails, buildings and facilities. The duties and responsibilities include: construction of new buildings; modification and maintenance of existing buildings; roofing buildings; painting structures; repairing or installing concrete surfaces; installation of skilled trade components of electrical, plumbing or carpentry; fabricating, producing and installing signs of varying dimensions; and operating tools and equipment as required.

Desired minimum qualifications include: high school diploma or GED equivalent with specialized courses in construction practices and five years of increasingly responsible related experience, or any equivalent combination of related education and experience.

Working Hours:
Daytime Hours

Starting Salary:
29,205 - 36,504/year, plus Benefits.

ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT,

New position reporting to Director-Midwest National Air Center. This position is responsible for tracking and reporting sales for fuel, charts, pilot supplies, etc. Will process accounts payable and receivable, track and maintain reports and records for airport expenditures and revenues. Tracks airport grant payments and reimbursements and assists with bid preparation and commission Resolutions.Dispenses fuel, responsible for sales of fuel and other retail items

HS diploma or equivalent. 2-4 years experience in Administrative Assistant position strongly preferred. Must possess intermediate level expertise with Excel and Word. Prior experience with ACCESS desired.

8 - 5 M-F WITH CALL BACK

Maintenance Mechanic I (2 positions), Facilities Management Department

Performs general maintenance of systems in county buildings. Maintenance experience required and will perform various types of manual labor and operate equipment. May be assigned to work with heavy equipment and other types of equipment to perform various functions as necessary. Responds to after hour emergencies and essential tasks as needed.

Desired minimum qualifications include HS Diploma or GED equivalent or vocational training. 1-3 yrs of increasingly responsible related experience, or any equivalent combination of related education and experience. Must possess valid driver's license.

Working Hours:
8-5 p.m.

Starting Salary:
26,324 - 32,911/year, plus Benefits.
